There is no doubt that timely action can lead to
wonderful results. If a bad habit is not controlled in the beginning, it can result
in great loss and destruction. A small leak may sink a great ship. Therefore,
it is always better to repair the small leak at the earliest. If it is not
repaired in time, it will become uncontrollable. Those who do not care for the
smallest things of life, can never achieve good results. They have to cut a
sorry figure. Those who go on sleeping over small matters till they grow into
big problems, repent over their mistakes. Then they cannot control the situation
as it is already out of hand. Once we miss an opportunity, we cannot get it
back because time once lost for ever. It is then useless to cry over spilt
milk. We should, therefore, never let the golden chance slip from our hand. A
small effort at the right time gives pleasure and contentment and its dividends
are marvelous.
