AN ACCIDENT

I witnessed an accident last week. I was walking on the pavement. A few boys were flying kites in the nearby park. The string of one of the kites snapped and the boy ran to catch the kites which had become free. He rushed onto the main road unmindful that a blue line bus was seeding on the road. When the driver saw the boy, he suddenly applied the brakes. The boy had a narrow escape but the bus hit the divider after hitting a motorcycle was seriously wounded. The ambulance and police van arrived immediately. The wounded were rushed to the nearby hospital. The bus driver also was seriously wounded. It was a sad day for me. I returned home in a very gloomy mood. This accident will remain in my memory for many days.
